Eid advance bus tickets sale from May 30

Staff Correspondent: Private bus operators will start advance selling of bus tickets for holidaymakers ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr festival from May 30.

Bangladesh Bus-Truck Owners' Association Chairman and Shohagh Paribahan Managing Director Md Faruk Talukder Sohel confirmed the matter on Saturday.

He said thinking the condition of highway and rainy season, the transport owners have decided to start selling of bus tickets from May 30.

"Tickets for June 7 journeys will be sold on the first day. The selling from ticket counters will continue till the demands are met," he said.

On the other hand, Bangladesh Railway will start selling advance train tickets on June 1 on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. However, no decision of Eid advance tickets from BRTC bus found yet.
