Eskaton double murder verdict deferred to June 4

Staff Correspondent: The verdict on Eskaton double murder case filed against Awami League lawmaker Pinu Khan's son Bakhtiar Alam Rony, has deferred to June 4.
Judge Md Al Mamun of Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge’s Court No-1 deferred the verdict saying further argument hearing is needed in the case. However, the fresh date for the hearing was not declared.
Assistant public prosecutor Sahabuddin Mia confirmed the matter.
Earlier, on April 10, the same court fixed May 8 (Tuesday) to deliver the verdict.
On April 14 in 2015, a rickshaw-puller Abdul Hakim and an auto-rickshaw driver Yeakub Ali were shot dead as Roni fired shots in the air from his car on New Eskaton Road.
