MP Liton murder: Former MP arrested

Staff Correspondent: Former lawmaker of Gaibandha's Sundarganj Col. Dr. Abdul Quader has been arrested in MP Manzurul Islam Liton murder.

Police arrested him from his own residence of Rahman Nagar area in Bogra on Tuesday afternoon.

Amirul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bogra Detective Branch of Police, confirmed the news.

He said, "Gaibandha police arrested him with our assistance."

Earlier, he was confined at his wife-owned "Garib Shah Clinic" in Bogra for six days, sources said.
