Exam to be cancelled if Detectives found match leaked question

Secretariat Correspondent: Allegation has been again found of question paper leakage of the first examination of SCC and its equivalent held on Thursday.

The Detectives are scrutinizing the questions leaked on social networking sites. Thursday's examinations might be cancelled, if the leaked questions match with the main questions.

Chowhdury Mufad Ahmed, Additional Secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Department of Education Ministry, said this.

Questions were leaked since Thursday morning. Of the questions, there was a question found matched thoroughly.

When asked, Chowdhury Mufad said Detectives were asked to take steps in this regard after providing them facebook links.

A question (set: Kha) of Multiple Choice of SCC and equivalent examination was published on Facebook around 8:50am, before an hour of beginning the examination on Thursday. Since, the question was spreading over the social networking site. The question was found matched thoroughly after the examination ended.

There was anger among the examinees and their guardians in the capital over the question paper leakage.

Though Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said at Dhanmondi Laboratory School that the examination will be cancelled, if the leaked question is found matched even after the examination ended. We will not accept the examination under leaked question.

When asked, Nurul Islam Nahid said, "Leaked questions were not found matching with the main questions. I myself matched the questions."

He also termed it as false and rumor.

He, however, said we asked BTRC and law enforcers to find out the person who posted the question on Facebook and to step actions.
