'Explosive found in militant den available in country'

Staff Correspondent: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said the explosives which were found in militant dens are available in the country.
The minister said in reply to a query after opening a two-week training course on "Transnational Crime: SAARC Perspective" at Bangladesh Police Staff College (PSC) at the capital's Mirpur on Sunday.
Kamal said the explosives have recently been found in different militant dens are available in the country. Nevertheless, we will investigate that how the militants collect the explosives.
The Minister also laid stress on reducing transnational crimes and ensuring security of the South Asian region by enhancing mutual cooperation, skill, and sharing experiences among the nations.
He said, "The regional police forces need to be equipped with update knowledge, information and the latest training for facing the challenges of globalized forms of crimes."
Chaired by the Rector of PSC Dr M Saiiqur Rahman, Inspector General of Police (IGP) AKM Shahidul Haque addressed the function as special guest.
