Explosive materials recovered from Mirpur den

Staff Correspondent: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) recovered some amount of explosive materials from the militant den of 'Komol Prova' of the capital's Darus Salam area.

Mufti Mahmud Khan, Director (legal and media) of RAB, told this to the reporters in front of the six-storey building on Friday.

He also expected to end the operation in the building within Friday afternoon.

He said, "Some amount of explosive materials were recovered from inside the militant den. There were 23 new fridges in the flat containing different sizes bottles with chemical. Law enforcers were trying to open the fridges cautiously. The chemical will be tested."

"Searching will be conducted in all others flats of the building. Inhabitants of the building will be allowed to return their homes once it would be confirmed that all bombs were defused successfully," he added.
