Extremist leader found dead in Chuadanga

Chuadanga Correspondent: Police have found the bullet-riddled body of a man in Chalavora field area under Damurhuda upazila of Chuadanga.

The deceased was identified as Abdul Bari, 45, son of Pochu Sheikh, a local leader of an extremist group. 

Police said that on information, the law enforcers rushed to the spot around 7:00am and found the bullet hit body. Meanwhile, locals identified him as Bari Haque.

Later, the body was sent to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy around 10:30am.

Confirming the matter, Sukumar Biswas, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Damurhuda model police station said that Bari was active member of extremist gang Ruhul Bahini.
