FBCCI receives Certificate of Merit

Economic Correspondent: The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) received 'Certificate of Merit', awarded by the World Customs Organization (WCO) on the occasion of International Customs Day-2019.

FBCCI President Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin received the award from Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal at a ceremony held at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital on Saturday.

The FBCCI issued a press release in this regard on Sunday.

PM's Economic Affairs Adviser Dr Mashiur Rahman, Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi and National Board of Revenue (NBR) chairman Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan were present at the ceremony.

As a global practice, the revenue authorities recognise its associate organizations every year. This year FBCCI received this prestigious award for the second time as an organization.
