Facebook to remain block for 6hrs!

Staff Correspondent: The Bangladesh government is considering to block social networking site Facebook for six hours starting from every midnight for the betterment of students and youths.

In a letter forwarded to the telecoms ministry, the Cabinet Division said that Facebook addiction was 'affecting the students' and 'undermining the youth's capacity for work.'

Shyam Sunder Sikder, secretary of the division, acknowledged the receipt of such a letter from the cabinet division.

BTRC Chairman Shahjahan Mahmood said he was aware of the matter and they would give answer of the ministry's letter.
