'Facebook would be suspended, if necessary'

Staff Correspondent: Telecom and ICT Minister Mustafa Jabbar said Facebook services would be suspended if any circumstance emerges that endanger the state.
The minister made the assertion while replying newsmen at a city hotel in the capital on Monday.
He said that the safety of the state is given priority, then safety of people, and other issues come after them.
Mustafa Jabbar also said “If I saw today, Facebook has endangered my state, and I’m to make a choice between my state and Facebook, I would, definitely, have to save my country first. Therefore, I would have to do the needful.”
Regarding to a question over the internet speed ahead of national election, he said, "Steps will be taken according to the situation."
