Fake RAB man detained from DMCH

Staff Correspondent: A fake RAB man named Md. Farman Ali has been detained from Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) area while collecting extortion.

He was detained with the help of locals at around 10.00am on Saturday. At that time, three mobile sets and Taka 30,400 were recovered from him.

Shahbagh Thana’s Police Inspector (Investigation) Abu Jafar Ali Biswas confirmed that one person was held on charge of extortion claiming himself as a RAB man. He is being interrogated.

According to locals, Farman Ali used to collect extortion for a long time claiming himself as a RAB man. In the morning, local caught and handed over him to police after a good beating.
