Finance Minister meets World Bank president in Bali

KMA Hasnat, from BALI (INDONESIA): Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith held a meeting with the President of World Bank, Dr. Jim Yong Kim on the sidelines of the World Bank/IMF Group Annual meetings in Bali, Indonesia.

The meeting took place at the office of World Bank president at Hotel Westin in Indonesia's Bali around 9:30am (local time) on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the high officials of World Bank, World Bank's Resident Representative Qimiao Fan, World Bank executive director Aparna Subramani, Alternative executive director Muhammad Musharraf Hossain Bhuiyan, ERD senior secretary Shafiqul Azam and others attended the function.

The concerned sources said several bilateral issues were discussed in the hour-long meeting.

Earlier on Friday, Indonesia president inaugurated two days long World Bank- International Monetary Fund (IMF) conference at Bali International Convention Center (BICC).
