Fire at Kaliakoir garment factory

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: A fire broke out at a garment factory named Fareast Knitting & Dying in Chandra area of Kaliakoir upazila on Friday night.
The fire originated around 11:30 pm. Seven units from Kaliakoir and Joydebpur of Gazipur, EPZ of Savar and Mirzapur station of Tangail rushed to the spot and doused the fire with an effort of two hours.
The officer said that the cause of the fire and the amount of damage will be investigated.
