Fire burns down Gazipur jhut warehouse

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: A fire broke out at seven jhut (scrap fabrics from garment factories) warehouses in Dewalbari area of Gazipur city.
The fire originated at the warehouse at Ambagan around 8:00pm.
Zakir Hossain, senior station officer of Joydebpur fire station said, on information, seven fire-fighting units from Kaliakoir, Joydebpur, DBL fire service station and Savar rushed to the spot and doused the blaze after three hours frantic efforts.
The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
