Fire guts five homes in Gazipur

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: A fire sparked from an electric short circuit has gutted five houses in Bhabanipur of Gazipur.
Sreepur Fire Service sources said that a fire originated from the rented house of a man named Jakir Hossain in Bhabanipur around 11:00pm on Friday. Meanwhile, the fire spread to the adjacent houses.
Later, on information two fire units from Sreepur Fire Station rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control after half an hour effort.
Five tin-shed houses and furniture in the residences were damaged in the fire.
