Former-footballer Kaiser Hamid arrested

Staff Correspondent: Police's Criminal Investigation Department (CID) arrested former national footballer Kaiser Hamid on charge of cheating.

ASP Sharmin Jahan of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) told risingbd.com that the law enforcers arrested him from Elephant road area around 9:30pm on Sunday.

Police said Kaiser Hamid had a company named ‘New Way Multipurpose Cooperative Society’. Using the farm, he took money from people and failed to return that amount. The company was shut eight ago. Later, an arrest warrant was issued against him on charges of embezzlement of funds.
