'Freedom Fighters to get five bonuses'

Secretariat Correspondent: Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque said that Freedom Fighters will get five bonuses in a year in future.

Alongside two religious festivals, they will be given bonus on Independence Day, Victory Day and Pahela Boishakh (the first day of Bangla year).

The minister came up with the disclosure while speaking at a programme at Lakharchar under Chakaria upazila in Cox's Bazar on Wednesday.

The news was revealed by a press release on Wednesday.

Minister said the government has increased allowances for Freedom Fighters. They are being given two bonuses currently. In future, they will be paid three bonuses in addition.
