Gazette issued for 3 new ministers, one state minister

Secretariat Correspondent: The Cabinet Division has issued a gazette notification over distributing offices for three new ministers and one state minister who took oaths on Tuesday.

Sooner after the oath, the Cabinet Division issued the gazette on Tuesday evening. However, it did not reveal the specific offices for the new ministers.

Sources of the Cabinet Division said a notification might be issued with the specific offices for the ministers on Wednesday.

According to the gazette issued on Tuesday, Narayon Chandra Chanda, State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock, AKM Shahgahan Kamal, lawmaker from Laxmipur-3, and Mustafa Jabbar, president of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services, best known for being the creator of software Bijoy, was made ministers.

Keramat Ali, a four-time MP and the chairman of the parliamentary standing committee on government assurances, was made state minister.

President Abdul Hamid administered the oaths for the new ministers at the Bangabhaban on Tuesday evening.
