Gazette on Judges’ code of conduct this week

Senior Correspondent: Law Minister Anisul Huq said the gazette notification on the code of conduct for lower court judges will be published this week.

He said the disagreement ensued between the Law Ministry and the Supreme Court (SC) over the issue has finally been resolved with the directives of the President and the assistance of the Acting Chief Justice and other justices of the Appellate Division. I hope, gazette notification on the code of conduct will be published this week.

The Minister came up with the disclosure at the inaugural programme of the judiciary pannel at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the capital on Saturday. President Abdul Hamid was also present in the programme.
