He said Mithila was taken to ICU on Wednesday as her condition deteriorated. There she died around 7:00am on Thursday.

Earlier on July 8, Azizul Haque rescued Mithila from a room of Hotel Tazim of Shyamoli in senseless state. Later, she was admitted to DMCH for treatment.

Azizul said one Ashraf Hossain and Mithila took the hotel room rented, identifying themselves as couple. Later, being informed by the hotel authority, she was rescued in senseless state.

"Both of them used fake names to get the room rented. Their identities could not be verified on the address they provided," he added.
