Gold prices drop

Staff Correspondent: Gold prices in Bangladesh have dropped after increasing several times consecutively following the fall of its value in the international market.
The new prices will be effective from tomorrow (Monday).
Bangladesh Jewellers' Samity (BJS) informed this in a press release issued on Sunday.
According to the press release, the gold prices have been reduced to 1,166 per bhori in the local market of Bangladesh following the fall in international market.
The revised prices will be effective from tomorrow (Monday), the press release said.
According to the revised chart, price for per bhori 22 karat gold is Tk 45,898; per bhori 21 karat gold is Tk 43,856; per bhori 18 karat gold is Tk 38,666; per bhori traditional system gold is Tk 24,844 which was TK 25,660 earlier.
