Staff Correspondent: Within a span of 15 days, the gold prices have been increased again in the country after it was last increased in July this year.
This time gold traders have decided to increase the price of gold up to maximum TK 1,516 per bhori.
Bangladesh Jewellers Samity (BAJUS) has issued a press release in this regard on Saturday.
The prices of gold will be effective from tomorrow (Sunday), it said.
According to the new rates, each bhori of 11.664 grammes of 22-carat gold will be sold at Tk 48, 638 while it was Tk 47,122 earlier. The price of 21-carat would be sold at Tk 46, 481 while it was Tk 45,198 and 18-carat would be sold at Tk 40, 824 from now when it was Tk 39,658 in the previous rate.
