Gold prices down again

Staff Correspondent: Gold prices have dropped up to Tk 1,166 per bhori in the market for the second time in one week.

In a press release, Bangladesh Jewellers Samity (BJS) announced it on Monday.

The revised price for gold will be effective from Tuesday (September 26). Earlier on September 20, gold prices went down.

As per the new price, 22-karat gold per bhori (11.664 grams) will be sold at Tk 47,822 against the previous rate of Tk 48,988, 21-karat at Tk 45,722 against Tk 46,773 and 18-karat at Tk 40,240 against Tk 41,116.

Traditional gold price has been lowered to Tk 25,369 a bhori from Tk 26,244.

However, the price of per bhori silver has been remain unchanged at Tk 1,050.
