Gold prices increase again in local market

Economic Correspondent: Gold prices in the local market have increased after it has become costlier in the international market.
Bangladesh Jewellers Samity (BAJUS) in a statement issued on Tuesday said the new rate for gold would be effective from tomorrow (Wednesday).
According to the press release, each bhori of the gold has been increased from Tk 875 to Tk 1,400.
As per the new rate, each bhori (11.664) of 22-carat gold will now cost Tk 50,738 while 21-carat gold will cost Tk 48,405 and 18-carat gold will cost Tk 43,156.
