Gopalganj road crash kills two

Gopalganj Correspondent: At least two people were killed and five others injured in a road accident in Gandisuor area of Sadar Upazila of the district on Wednesday afternoon.

The deceased were identified as Mohidul Mollah, 25, a salesman of coca cola company and driver Sabur Kazi, 34.

Sources said that the victims were heading towards Tekerhat riding a engine-run-rickshaw van (Nasiman). Meanwhile, another Nasiman collided the coco cola drings laden vehicle from opposite direction in the area, leaving them critically injured.

Later, the injured were rushed to Gopalganj General Hospital where duty doctor declared them dead this evening.

Gopalganj Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Selim Reza confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.
