Govt ensured comfortable Eid journey: Obaidul

Secretariat Correspondent: Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said that the government has ensured comfortable Eid journey for holidaymakers in roads, river and railways.

The minister came up with the opinion while exchanging greetings with newsmen at his secretariat office on Wednesday.

He said the Eid journey was comparatively comfortable this year than previous time. The condition of roads and highway was much better than last couple of years.

The role of police, highway police and district administration was praiseworthy. Monitoring team of ministry, roads and highway engineers were deployed in the roads.

M. A. N. Siddique, secretary of the Road Transport and Highways Division and other high officials of the ministry attended in the program.
