Govt revokes transfer order of Shahriar

Secretariat Correspondent: The government has reversed the transfer of Manjur Mohammad Shahriar, deputy director of the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection.
Public administration ministry issued an order in this regard on Tuesday.
Earlier on Monday evening, the public administration ministry issued a transfer order signed by Public administration ministry deputy secretary Muhammad Abdul Latif.
Manjur Mohammad Shahriar came to limelight for ordering the shutdown of Aarong’s Uttara outlet after a drive against consumer rights violation.

Confirming the matter, Farhad Hossain, state minister for the ministry of public administration said, the transfer order of Manjur Mohammad Shahriar has been revoked. There is no connection with drive at Aarong or Persona.
