Govt servants who surrender pension getting New Year allowance

KMA Hasnat: Public servants who already surrendered 100 percent of their pension are also getting Bangla New Year allowance. And with the move, the government is to pay additional Tk 13 crore.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has already signed a government order in this regard after Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith passed it.

Meanwhile Finance Ministry on Wednesday also issued a circular in this regard.

So, there is no bar to get New Year allowance for the government service holders who already surrendered their pension 100 percent.
