Govt spoiling polls atmosphere: Fakhrul

Staff Correspondent: BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir alleged that the government is spoiling atmosphere of election through carrying out attacks on BNP leaders and activists.

Fakhrul came up with the allegation before sitting with the Chief Election Commission (CEC) at Nirbachan Bhaban of the capital’s Agargaon on Wednesday afternoon.

The BNP leader said, “The attacks carrying out leaders and activists are enough to create bars for election.”

He also urged the government to restore fair environment for election immediately.
