Cox's Bazar Correspondent: The government started registering all the Rohingyas who have fled the sectarian violence raging in neighboring Myanmar.
A total of 20 camps have been set up from Kutupalong to Balukhali, Executive Magistrate of Cox's Bazar AKM Lutfar Rahman revealed on Monday.
He said that the registration procedure has continued this afternoon. Some 14,000 Rohingyas will be enlisted every day.
Passport office took the charge to complete registration process. The project deputy director Lieutenant Colonel Shafiul Azam said that finger prints, entry time and address of Rohingyas in Myanmar will be enlisted. Then, the Rohingyas will get their identity cards.
