Senior Correspondent: BNP senior leader Moudud Ahmed claimed that the government is tensed following the formation of anti-government platform Jatiya Oikya Front.
The BNP leader made the opinion while addressing a discussion at National Press Club in the capital on Friday.
Moudud said that the government is tensed following the newly emerged 'Jatiya Oikya Front. Their various remarks have exposed that.
He also said that they will ensure the defeat of the government through the Oikyafront by involving people with the platform.
Criticising the government for denying Oikya Front permission for holding its rally in Sylhet, he said it has exposed how much the government’s popularity has waned.
They (government) are proving repeatedly that people are not with them, Moudud added.
Criticising the digital security act, he said that Broadcast Bill was approved before the election so that media can’t criticise the government. The media will only sing the songs of the government’s development.
BNP Vice-Chairman Advocate Ahmed Azam Khan, Joint secretary general Khairul Kabir Khokon, Executive member Abu Naser Mohammad Rahmatullah and others attended the function.
