Govt to launch One-Stop Services to attract investment

Secretariat Correspondent: The government is going to launch One-Stop Services (OSS) to attract domestic and foreign investment.
The authority will provide 16 types of service from the OSS centre. As a result investors will get harassment-free and easy service.
The Cabinet approved in principle the draft of One-Stop Services (OSS) act, 2017 at its regular weekly meeting held at the Bangladesh Secretariat with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.
Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam briefed reporters after the meeting.
He said that there was One-Stop Services earlier. But, that has no legal formation. From now, that will be brought under a legal frame work.
To bring pace in investment, the steps will be taken so that local and foreign investors feel interest here.
