Govt to pay wages, Eid bonus June 20

Special Correspondent: The government has taken a decision to pay salaries, bonuses and allowances of month June to the officials and employees of government, semi-government and autonomous institutions on June 20 on the occasion of upcoming holy Eid-ul-Fitr.

It has also decided to pay pension money of month June to all retired government employees of the country.

A office order, signed by deputy secretary Mofiz Uddin Ahmed, has been issued from treasury and loan management subsection of the Finance Ministry in this regard on Tuesday.

A letter has been sent to the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General (OCAG) and Controller General of Defense Finance to take necessary steps in this regard.
