Govt will continue to distribute relief: Minister

Natore Correspondent: Disaster Management and Relief Minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya has said that the government will continue to distribute relief materials as long as the farmers of Chalanbil area do not come out of this disaster.

The minister said this on Monday noon during the distribution of rice and cash money among the flood-affected farmers of Natore.

In addition, a cyclone shelter will be built in Chalanbil area, he said.

Tk 500 and 30 kg rice were distributed among the affected farmers each in Dahiya area.
State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaed Ahmed Palak, Secretary of Disaster Management and Relief Shah Alam, Natore Deputy Commissioner Shahina Khatun and officials of the government were also present on the occasion.
