Govt's support to continue for flood victims: PM

Gaibandha Correspondent: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said the government will take necessary steps to rehabilitate flood affected people.

He said, "Our aim is just one -- not a single person will suffer from hunger. We’ll take steps to ensure food security for each person. Food support to the flood victims will continue until the next crops are harvested."

The Premier said this while distributing relief materials and seedlings among flood victims on the premises of Gobindaganj upazila parishad on Saturday.

Sheikh Hasina said all damaged educational institutions, houses, streets will be repaired. Farmers will be given interest free loan and the interest of existing will be waived.
