HC issues rule over recruitment of 125 NTRCA examinees

Staff Correspondent: The High Court (HC) issued a rule on the government to explain to why the recruitment process of 125 examinees of Non-Government Teachers' Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) should not be taken place on the basis of merit.

An HC bench comprising Justice Kazi Reza-Ul Haque and Justice Mohammad Ullah came up with the order on Monday.

Advocate Khairul Alam moved for the state in the case.

Education Secretary, NTRCA authorities have been made respondents to the rule, which is returnable in four weeks.

Earlier, 125 examinees including Sohel Rana and others filed the writ petition after failing to get their job although the passed the NTRCA examination successfully.
