There is also a provision in the act to forward a report regarding the failure in disposing the cases to the Supreme Court (SC). At the same time, public prosecutors (PP) and investigation officers (IO) of the cases will have to submit the same report to the government.
But judges, PPs and investigation officers are not following the instruction. Following the matter, the HC has directed the registrar general of the Supreme Court to form the monitoring cell.
