HC summons Rajuk chairman

Staff Correspondent: The High Court has summoned Md Abdur Rahman, chairman of Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk), and Md Anwar Hossain, a project director, for committing contempt of court.

They have been asked to appear before the court on August 12 to explain why a High Court verdict that directed to withdraw removal order of 75 persons from their job in Uttara Apartment Project, “was yet to be implemented.”

The HC bench comprising of Justice Taril Ul Hakim and Justice Md  Suhrawardy passed the order  on Tuesday.
