HC summons three BUET teachers

Staff Correspondent: The High Court (HC) has summoned three teachers of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) over the incident of teasing three women students and torturing a male student.

They were asked to appear before the court at 10:00am on January 24 and to explain the investigation report submitted over the incident.

The teachers were known as convener of the probe body Dr. Kamrul Ahsan and members Dr. Maksud Helali and Dr. Roushan Momtaj.

A HC bench of Justice Gobinda Chandra Tagore and Justice AKM Shahidul Haqu came up with the order on Thursday afternoon.

Barrister ABM Altaf Hossain moved for the petition.
