HC summons two secretaries

Staff Correspondent: The High Court (HC) summoned the social welfare secretary and secretary to the drafting division of the law ministry to appear before it on November 12.
The court asked the two secretaries to appear before it for giving an explanation why the government has not amended the Children Act, 2013 as there is ambiguity in holding trial of an adult accused in a case filed under this law.
Justice M Enayetur Rahim and Justice Shahidul Karim came up with the order on Sunday.
