HC to deliver verdict on Rajib's compensation today

Staff Correspondent: The High Court will deliver its verdict on a ruling directing the authorities concerned to pay Tk one crore in compensation to the family of Government Titumir College student Rajib Hossain.

The bench of Justice JBM Hassan and Justice MD Khairul Alam will deliver the verdict.

On May 19, the court set June 20 to deliver the verdict. 

Rajib Hossain, a 20-year-old student of Government Titumir College, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on April 17; after spending two weeks in a coma because he lost a hand between two buses in Kawran Bazar.

On May 8, the Court ordered the bus companies to pay Tk one crore to Rajib's family as compensation. BRTC and Sajan Paribahan challenged the order.
