Hatirjheel-Sonargaon part of Moghbazar flyover opened

Staff Correspondent: Hatirjheel to Sonargaon part of the Moghbazar-Mouchak flyover in the capital has been opened to public.

LGRD Minister Khandakar Mosharraf Hossain opened the section of the flyover around 10:00am on Wednesday.

After inaugural, the minister hoped that it would help ease traffic and the rest of the project would be completed in June.

On March 30, 2016, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the first part of the flyover that stretched two kilometres from Saatrasta to Shaheed Captain Mansur Ali Avenue.

The total length of the Mouchak-Moghbazar flyover is 8.7 kilometres.
