Holey Artisan attack: Court defers probe report submission

Staff Correspondent: A court in Dhaka on Wednesday deferred the submission of the probe report in a case filed over Gulshan Holey Artisan Café attack.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Nurunnahar Yesmin deferred the date as Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) inspector Humayun Kabir, also the investigation officer (IO) of the case, failed to submit probe report by Wednesday and sought more time.

The court also fixed December 28 for submission of the probe report in the case.

On July 1 last year, five members of militant outfit Islamic State attacked Holey Artisan bakery at diplomatic area of Gulshan in the capital killing 20 people, mostly foreigners.

The following day, five militants were killed in a commando operation by the army.
