Home Minister rejects journo torture by police

Moulovibazar Correspondent: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has ruled out the incident of journalist torture by police in the capital’s Shahbag.

He said, “It was just a scuffling between police and newsmen and it is common being happened sometimes.  Police did not assault any journalist at Shahbag.”  

The Minister said this while speaking in Moulovibazar on Friday afternoon.

Over the EC search body he said, “BNP never takes any issue without nitpicking.  It is a part of their habits. They will participate in the election on time.”
