Home minister lays foundation stone of KSR mosque

Staff Correspondent: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan has recently laid the foundation stone of an eye-catching mosque named Masjid Al-Qasama at Shinepukur under Dohar in Dhaka.

The mosque is being constructed with the finance of Kuwait Awqaf Public Foundation and under the supervision of Kuwait Society for Relief (KSR).

Director General of KSR Headquarters Abdul Aziz- Al-Obaed, Treasurer of the board of directors of KSR Bangladesh office Emad Sa’dun Al-Muttaoha, Director General of Bangladesh’s KSR office Dr. Gazi Md Zahirul Islam, Chairman of Zakat Salwa Committee of Kuwait Badar Faleh Akil Al-Azmi, Director of Society for Islamic Training Center Bangladesh Md Abdul Quddus and General Secretary of Arial Beel Ma o Shishu Foundation Adv AKM Azizur Rahman were present, among others.

Vice-Principal of Tejgaon College Prof. Mir Md Delwar Hossain conducted the doa programmme.

In his speech, Asaduzzaman Khan thanked the people and government of Kuwait for taking various social welfare activities in Bangladesh.
