Huge crowd thronged Kamalapur Railway Station

Staff Correspondent: A huge crowd is waiting in long queues at Kamalapur railway station on Sunday to leave the city riding train ahead of Eid-ul-fitr.

Despite some confusion over train schedules, trains were leaving on time on Sunday except, said Railway authority.

Kamalapur Railway Station Manager Sitangshu Chakrabarty told risingbd.com that a total of 20 trains have left the station till 10:30am on Sunday. Besides, 60 more trains will also leave Dhaka for several destinations across the country.

Earlier, the special train service started from Thursday (June 22) which will ply on different routes and expected to carry 80 thousand more passengers than regular service.
