I won’t contest polls, says Muhith

Special Correspondent: Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith has announced that he will not contest the upcoming parliamentary election.
The minister made the announcement while addressing reporters after attending a cheque handover ceremony of Grameen Bank at the secretariat Thursday.
He said, "I will not contest the polls anymore. However, I would join the polls-time government."
Abul Maal Abdul Muhith also said, "Although I will not contest the polls but my younger brother Abdul Momen Chowdhury, Bangladesh's Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations would contest the national polls from Sylhet."
