IUJA election on Saturday

H K Jibon from IU: The election of Islamic University Journalists Association (IUJA) will be held on the university campus in Kushtia on Saturday.

The decision was taken at an emergency meeting of the journalists association with its president Mustafa Zubayer Alam in the chair.

The election will be held at IUJA office adjacent to the university central auditorium around 8.30am.

University student adviser Prof Dr M Anwarul Haque Shopon will act as chief election commissioner and information, publication and public relation office head, M Ataul Hauqe will act as assistant election commissioner while proctor Professor M Mahbubar Rahman will present as investigator.

After the poll, the result of the election will be announced around 12:00pm.

IUJA president Mustafa Zubayer Alam said that they had already taken the necessary steps to hold the election in a peaceful atmosphere.
