Illegal wealth: Two cases filed against SP Mizan, his wife

Staff Correspondent: The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed two cases against Superintendent of Police (SP) Mizanur Rahman and his wife Nipa Mizan for allegedly amassing illegal wealth worth nearly Tk 3.5 crore.
ACC assistant director Md Faruk Ahmed filed the separate cases against them with Tejgaon Model Police Station in the capital on Wednesday.
Majharul Islam, officer-in- charge (OC) of Tejgaon Police Station, confirmed the news.
The watchdog body found proof of amassing illegal wealth of Tk 1.17 crore of Commandant Mizanur Rahman, SP rank of Range Reserve Force (RRF), while Tk 2.32 crore of his wife Nipa Mizan.
