Info Sarker-3 project: Govt set to sign deal with China

Hasan Mahmud: The government is going to sign a deal 'Info Sarker-3 project' with China to bring pace in administration.  

Chinese company 'China Railway International Group Company Limited (CRIG)' got the project. The project will be implemented through Government to Government (G to G).

The Executive Committee for National Economic Council (ECNEC) approved the project in December last year.

Info Sarker-3 project is a part of extensive work of information technology. The project will connect 2,600 unions with optical fibre cable.

According to ICT division, Info Sarker-3 project is supposed to cost Tk 1,999 crore. It is scheduled to end by June 2018.
